I for one was not a Reagan fan at first but wow what a team he and the “Iron Lady” made together.
She was the one person that was truly feared by what was at that time viewed as our enemies.
Her will was one that she stood by her convictions no matter what, it is to bad we don’t have someone that is truly a leader today.
But I guess it is all about political correctness.
her influence on American politics were nothing short of miraculous, she felt Germany should NEVER be able to re arm but look at them today, they will be the next world super power along with China
it’s the other way around.
It is likely less than half the American population can name the current British PM. Heck, many have no idea where Canada is, and surveys have found 21% can’t find the USA on an unlabelled map. But they knew who Princess Di was, even if they could not name, or had no idea who or what the Prince Consort was.
Remember what H.L. Mencken said, no one every went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.
