Do you think that we, as humans, can ever bring about ‘world peace’? By ‘world peace’ I mean no wars as well as peace in our personal relationships. There will always be conflicts arising, but do you think that we will ever learn to nip them in the bud and avoid resorting to violence almost all of the time?
Out of interest and to make it different from other questions on this theme, after your answer could you say if you consider yourself religous or not. That is, if it’s not apparent in your answer itself.

At this juncture in time no. The malcontents have a perverse addiction to disorder and warfare and the hatred and ignorance it incites. The miscreants have gained power and precedence and may be able to string sentences together in a quest to appear erudite lack humanity and an intuitive intelligence required for spiritual peace, to end the psychological warfare executed upon the psyches of witnessing public.
World peace is created with a love, an all encompassing love amongst the globe between all peoples. A shedding of an ego and the blinkers applied to block out the unknown and maintain divisive barriers. The idiocy in power could not allow anyone to orchestrate such great feat, for it fears other nations, powers, is all too wary of its own incongruity and fears being unmasked. So it wages war neither completely destroying nor sparing upon nations unarmed and defenceless and laughs in the face of any meek protest at its inhumane savage barbary.
No, man cannot attain peace. He has an ego. And he cannot transcend it. He doesn’t work for the whole picture. He works for himself. He cannot go beyond his selfishness. Man is not perfectable. Man is as barbaric and primitive as ever. Yes, I believe in God. By the way, have you noticed how chaotic and insane the world seems to getting more of. I mean like almost no one tells the truth anymore and while they are lying to you they are smiling as if this makes them nice. And if you try to pass someone on a single lane country road they will speed up even if you are approaching a curve and their speeding up could get you killed. Just because they are pissed that you are passing. And people actually now think it’s normal behavior to abort a baby a month away from birth and leave it on a table to die. I could go on and on but you get the point. I think the end may be coming. for real. can we humans bring peace? NO
No. Humans will never ever be able to bring “world peace”. Man is selfish and only looks out for what is beneficial for themselves.

Humans will always be in conflict with others. It is human nature, regrettably!
Anger, envy, greed, jealousy, pride, religious beliefs etc.
Me? I know better!
I think that it is not attainable. My reason is because when there is love, there is hate. Hate will cause the pain, while love will heal the pain. Our world, this life, and everything works in a balance. Yes or No. Love & Hate. Good and Bad. It’s kind of a yin and yang thing.
When there are good guys, there will be bad guys. And of course, there will always be a gray area. So basically, world peace is not attainable, unless all humankind have lost the ability to feel.

Yes…world peace is surely possible . To attain that we have to follow a simple rule – LIVE AND LET OTHERS LIVE BY SPREADING LOVE AND PEACE .
