How many people remember how crappy of a President Jimmy Carter was?

Jimmy Carter
Vicki1970 asked:

Jimmy Carter was elected on character and change. His Presidency was a testimony of disaster. Disasters like his gutting the military, double digit inflation and unemployment, boycotting the Olympics and nut-less cowardice when dealing with the Iranian hostage crisis.

Unfortunately, Carter was way more qualified than Obama and Carter was not an overt Socialist like Obama.

Does anybody remember how crappy Carter was and they still support Obama?

Is there any connection between Jimmy Carter and the Mayo Clinic?

Jimmy Carter
Laur asked:

This is for a small project I’m doing, I know it sounds odd. Is there any connection between the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida and Jimmy Carter?

Like, even if a street nearby is named after him, or the Clinic at Jacksonville shares the name of his birthplace, nickname, etc?

Thanks for the help!

What is a strong and convincing argument as to why Jimmy Carter was an ethical president?

Jimmy Carter
Natalie asked:

I always hear that Jimmy Carter is so horrible. True, the Iran Hostage crisis might have perverted his presidential career a little bit… but what about his humanitarian attitude? Why isn’t that enough to classify him as a good president? Everyone I talk to dislikes him.

Therefore, how could I convince someone that he wasn’t such a horrible president? My history teacher assigned me this position, and I have no idea what to talk about. I want to be convincing.
