There will always be conflicts arising, but do you think that we will ever learn to nip them in the bud and avoid resorting to violence almost all of the time?

I’m looking back at past presidents (as we come to an important election November 4th).

I was only a little kid when Jimmy Carter was president, so I wasn’t aware how much of an impact he made when he was in office.

I understand he is still active politically; but was he a president that moved the country forward or backward? What was the general consensus?
